We will sink or swim as we go from freelance writers to agency owners to ghostwriters. It is a journey. Every phase of this journey will show us where we need to pivot and what must be removed to move forward.

“you are only as good as your last try”

In my writing journey, I have learned to be bold with my words. There is more I want to learn and topics I’d like to master. For now, I’m following a consistent journey of writing on my own time to get better. These are four tips to make sure you are always growing and improving as a writer:

1. Focus on The Now

How can we grow if we don’t analyze what we are doing and how it is affecting our lives?

Stop playing with your potential.

Be consistent. Show up and write 100 words today, tomorrow, after tomorrow, and a week from now. The words will come to your once you sit in front of your computer and the consistency will surprise you when you look up and realize you have written 1,000 words on a post all in one sitting.

Find what is working and don’t trade one level for another. Add to what you are doing and see where you need to pivot.

2. Teach to Remember
