Jobs are meant to connect us with people we wouldn’t meet otherwise, work with like-minded people to reach the same goal, grow our finances, develop new skills, and learn how to cater to someone other than ourselves.

All of our careers have similar upbringings. They’re tied to our values and end desires. We work to reach our financial and personal dreams.

1. Working for The Dream Company

Prioritizing a person or a dream company can lead to glorifying what is seen from an outsider’s point of view. We don’t know what the company culture is actually like until we are inside seeing it for ourselves.

After some time you may realize you are better off working for yourself or an average company where your skills will be appreciated. Develop mastery in your field and work for the companies where you feel like your skills and needs are most aligned.

2. Take A Break, Soldier

Working 24/7 for a company because they paid for your car, bills, and future expenses isn’t a badge of honor. Overworking and burnout are real.
