Two Years of Stories on Medium, Yet It Feels Like I Have Not Said Enough

Cue the confetti – I have been on Medium for two years!!! 🎉

As much as I value the community and the opportunity to earn money with my writing, I feel like I haven’t taken in everything I can do on this platform:

  • Building a close knit community with other writers
  • Growing on a publication
  • Building my own publication
  • Reaching more than 5K, 10k, 100k followers
  • Commenting and engaging with more content
  • Writing more than x amount of posts
  • Earning more than x amount

My goals haven’t been unclear the past two years, yet it feels like the beginning of something.

I want to hit that $100 earned in a month threshold.

I want to reach 10,000+ followers.

Lately, I have not had the feeling of withdrawal. I have been pumped to increase my income writing on Medium, connecting with other writers and readers, and leaving more comments and claps along the way. Many thoughts come with this:

What if I don’t hit my goals by the end of the year?

What if I am not the greatest
